Would it be possible to sell Crusade directly to foreign networks, as a
way to go around the lack of domestic interest, thus enabling the show to
be produced and hopefully later shown in the U.S.? Reasonably, it would
be possible to have several networks share the cost, as long as they
broadcast in different countries and don't compete with each other. (It's
probably hard to find a single non-U.S. network with the necessary amount
of money.)

We can't sell the show anywhere, only WB can, as the owners of Crusade.

Of course, but do you know if WB have considered this option? Or is it
not possible for some reason I don't know about?

WB is a big company with a big financial stake in Crusade. I would assume
they've explored ALL options.

In January, there was a convention in New Orleans called NATPE. It is where
production companies show their syndicated programs to the stations. Since
foreign broadcasters also attend, WB International was there with their
programs for international sale.

Crusade WAS on that list. If foreign networks were interested, they could have
bought it then. But, it would take a lot of foreign interest to keep the show
going without a domestic contract. Since it isn't going, I can only assume it
didn't.

SPACE: The Imagination Station will be airing Crusade starting
Saturday, June 12, 7 p.m. ET, with a repeat on Sundays at 2 a.m. ET
I don't know if any independent stations will be carrying it.
