Just got a 4G4A+ yesterday. Installed XP Pro with no problems. Have a PNY
Geforce4 Ti4200 installed, 2 Corsair PC2400 modules, 330W Antec TruPower,
Intel 2.26 CPU.
As soon as I installed the Intel .inf files from the disc that came with the
motherboard, the screen became corrupt. Splatters of colored pixels and
black vertical bands across the screeen.
I know the Geforce4 is good.
Did a fresh install a 2nd time, downloaded the latest 845G files from the
intel site, and the same thing happened.
Bad board?
Epox emailed me a new beta BIOS, but I haven't installed it yet.

The first time I installed the cd rom inf file the same thing happened to
me. Had to install XP with the bare minimum of hardware installed, including
USB devices.
Got latest inf file from Intel along with USB 2 patch and USB 2 drivers.
Once XP was fully installed added one piece of hardware at a time. System
runs great now.
