HOW TO REORBIT VENUS ?

REORBITING VENUS
In our Solar System, the planet Earth is the only planet on which the human
species has evolved and developed an intellect capable of creating Iliads and
Odysseys, King Lears, Eugene Onegins, Jupiter Symphonies, Kreutzer Sonatas and
above all, the Decimal Representation of Real Numbers which encodes the entire
Mathematical Analysis.
In addition to the above, the planet Earth enabled humans to create
interplanetary electronic communications and flights, computer chips, magnetic
tapes and xerox machines.
The question is why ? Why have all these miracles occurred on the planet
Earth? The answer is because of the uniqueness of the planet Earth's cosmic
parameters, especially the parameters of Earth's orbit around the Sun.
Apparently, to generate human life on a planet, it is necessary and
sufficient that the planet possess cosmic parameters closely resembling those
of Earth. Why else, except on Earth, is there no human life, no civilization
no technology on any other planet (of our Solar System or perhaps anywhere
else) ?
To enhance the extraordinary achievements of the human genius and to
augment them many, many times over, it is incumbent upon us to create Born
Again Earths. For this purpose, the most natural candidate is the planet
Venus, the so-called "Twin of the planet Earth" and this because Venus' close
physical similarities with Earth. Almost identical size, mass and constituents.
However, the planet Venus remains captive in an inhospitable orbit around
the Sun which is quite different from the orbit of the Earth around the Sun.
I am sure that the human genius will reorbit Venus, will put Venus in an
Earth-like orbit and will transform Venus into a Born Again Earth. This
is inevitable and this will enhance human culture, civilization and
technology to unprecedented heights.
I most ardently request the readers of the newsnet, especially those
interested in astronomy, astrophysics and physics, to post suggestions
as to ways and methods of reorbiting Venus. Please don't be deterred by the
enormous energy required to reorbit Venus. Future technology will easily
provide the required energy. In any event, for the time being, please ignore
the factor of energy and please try to post most imaginative, novel and
revolutionary methods of REORBITING VENUS.
Once again, I most earnestly request that the readers post their most
creative proposals as to how to reorbit Venus.

The problem of reorbiting Venus is a most daunting one. However, I
propose the following method.
1: Mount giant engines in the Himalayas.
2: Work out the proper timing with respects to the orbits of Earth and Venus
3: Fire the engines
This will have the following effects: the Earth will shoot off into
space, slamming into Venus as if they were two billiard balls. Venus
will move slightly outward, and in time come to a new stable orbit around
the sun. If the calculations were correct, this will be the Earth's old
orbit. As for the Earth, it will probably fall into the sun, but no big
loss, eh? Venus is secure.
For those of you who doubt the veracity of my plan, I propose this alternate.
1: create a micro black hole just off of Venus.
(This should be no problem because we all know that black holes
are merely the superdense accumulation of enormous amounts of mass, and that
energy is equivalent to mass, and that we are not limited in any way by
energy restraints, and that energy suffers no displacement problems like
pesky matter does when trying to occupy the same space)
2: Allow this micro black hole to pull Venus into the proper orbit.
This scenario involves the destruction of no planets, but does leave the
problem of what to do with that micro black hole. For this I will turn
it over to you, the loyal and intelligent readers of sci.physics, for
whom such tasks are infinitely well suited. Good luck, and Godspeed, for
the day on which Venus can be reorbited will be a day of rejoicing for all.

To be fair, we only have one of each of these so far. Except the Odyssey which
was written by Joyce as well as by Homer.
