I noticed it was taking an awfully long time to ssh into my 4.2-RELEASE
box, and something was triggering name server lookups that made ppp dial.
I turned on named's debugging and saw that sshd was trying to look up
krb5-realm.org, which confused me because I don't use Kerberos.

I found a few mentions of this. A post here from a year ago:

http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=6CCW5.212%2404.1842%40read1

and some 9 October traffic on freebsd-security when the name service
stopped working:

http://docs.freebsd.org/mail/archive/2001/freebsd-security/20011014.freebsd-security.html

Is there a small fix that has minimal impact? I could install a new sshd
or upgrade the entire system, were that necessary, but I'd rather not.

Bill
