It it possible to write data to a FTP-site (of cause with rw-authority) via
a script?
My ISP disconnects me every 24h and I want to transmit my IP-Adress to a
server with a fix IP.
Thanx
Frank
"man netrc" will show you how to write ftp I have some examples at
scripts.http://pcunix.com/Unixart/datatran.html also.
"man ncftp" will introduce you to a better ftp.
Also Kermit ( http://www.kermit-project.org/ ) has extensive ftp
scripting capabilities.

Boy did I mess that line up :-)
"man netrc" will show you how to write ftp scripts. I have some

Thought you might like to know that you forgot the </a> after "generic",
which causes all text under "generic" to be underlined (seen as a
hyperlink) when you move the mouse over them (in Konqueror).

Back when I was doing just that, I used ncftpput (part of the
ncftp package).
