She was born on
July 15th 1919
08:00 hrs BST
Dublin, Ireland.
Asc: 19 Leo 23'
Moon: 16 Aqua 08'
Her writing talent is admirably shown, I think, by Mercury's conjunction
with the Leo Ascendant, it being ruler of her 2nd, how we earn our
money. In a thread on aam a while back we discussed signs of writing
talent in a chart, and I suggested that Mercury in aspect to the Moon
and Neptune, involving the 12th house, would give just the right amount
of wit and imagination to make a good writer.
Here we see Mercury opposed to the Moon, and widely conjunct Neptune,
which is in the 12th, ruled by the Moon.
Also, check out the 5th house, it being the house of creativity. Sag' on
the cusp, with ruler Jupiter exalted in Cancer and conjunct the Sun, on
cusp 12. This to my mind, is an indication of a prodigious talent, and a
very healthy ego, to boot!
What then, of the Alzheimer's, which finally destroyed her mind?
The 6th is the house of sickness, and here Saturn rules it from the
first house, and is in detriment. He is also conjunct her Mercury, and
Lilly says in C.A., page 78, that Mercury diseases include:
"...lethargies or giddinesse in the head, Madnesse, either Lightness,
or any disease of the Braine....all defects of the Memory, all Evils in
the Fancy and Intellectuall parts."
I suppose in Lilly's day, this would be one way of describing
Alzheimer's Disease.
As an aside, and as a way of bowing to the midpoint school of thought,
that Mercury also sits on the SA/NE midpoint.
( ME = SA/NE ), and Ebertin describes SA/NE as the "sickness axis".
Just thought I'd share all of this with you.
I'm really looking forward to watching the film at the weekend! :)
Anyone have any other thoughts on the chart??

The data is on the database listings of the "Astrological Association",
here in the U.K., Glenda.
They're usually pretty sharp on accuracy, so I believe the time can be
trusted.
