Thanks
steve
Yes, I have an idea. I'll bet it bogs down on Mondays? Visionfs does some
logfile housekeeping on Sundays. I think it uses a broken awk. I have fixed
this by manually deleting the log files in the vision folder. However, be
backed up, and careful when & what you are deleting! As I recall, I think
all the log files ended in ".log". Do a 'find /usr/vision -name
\*.log -print' and see what it shows.
Since I upgraded all customers to 3.10.911 of vision, a free upgrade, this
problem went away.
Thank you for your help,
steve

Someone correct me if I am wrong (as if this group needs that advise:), but
if you are on 5.0.5 or higher, you can download and install visionfs 3.10
and the 911 patch - no license required, it just installs users to match
your Unix license.
Try this link:
http://www.tarantella.com/support/updates/vision/p.vfs.3.10.911/
First install 3.1, then do the 911 patch. You won't need to enter any
activation key.

| Where do you get 3.10, the only place I could find was an evaluation
| copy.
Did you try it?

I decided I would, only to realize it only contains patches. I don't see the
3.10 vfssco.tar any more, the one that contained the meat. So I conclude my
link was useless.

Didn't you get to this page:

Going back four messages: I asked if you tried it. You then said you
couldn't find it, now you said you did find it. Once again, did you try
it?
