I used procmail to fetch mails to different folders and set
initial-keystroke-list as CR,;,P,U to check which folders have unraed mails
when pine is launched.

But sent-mail is always been flagged because I seldom open sent-mail and
"read" the mails in it. But flagging sent-mail has new mail is actually
annoying. Anybody has idea how to config so that sent-mail will not be
flagged? Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Dylan

If the names of your incoming folders contain a string such as
`IN-', which is what I suggest in my recently updated Procmail
Quick Start, then you can use something like this for your
initial-keystroke-list

;,T,N,I,N,-,CR,;,N,P,N,Z

which means

;, select
T, text
N, name
I, I
N, N
-, -
CR, carriage return
;, select
N, narrow
P, properties
N, new
Z zoom

Hope this helps!

I would recommend you to not to put your incoming folders in the mail/
collection. I put my incoming folders, for example, in a hidden
subdirectory of my main directory. After this I add each folder to the
incoming folder collection and use a patch (which you can get from my web
site) to know (automatically) which folders contain new mail. It only
takes time to configure, all the rest of the work is done by Pine.
