It is of course bad enough that AOL forces users to sit by while it dumps
stupid artwork on to their machines. I would gladly pay a surcharge to
avoid these stupid interruptions. But worse now, about 80% of the time
when I link using the TCP/IP connection, the downloading of the artwork
gets stuck. The only way to escape then is to force quit from AOL, which
about 50% of the time destroys my online database file, forcing me to
reinstall the program. Has anyone had this problem? I'm using a PPC 8100,
and all my software is current.

The version they are now beta testing will do away with that waiting for
artwork to be added before you can enter the area. It will be added as
you are in that area with this version.

Try deleting your AOL25\CACHE directory and see if that doesn't clear up
that problem you're having now.
