For clarity, I've spelled out the terms of
radial velocity in the chart I just posted,
from which the corresponding magnitudes of
velocity commensurate with planetary force
is derived; e.g., this Saturday at Noon UT
Mercury's distance will be about 1.0519 AU;
Mercury will be closing benefic 53,260 mph
and accelerating 40 mph over the next hour.
Thus the benefic superior force of Mercury,
which is the planetary ensign of Virgo, is
exerted to Earth at a gradually increasing
rate of over fifty thousand miles per hour.
Only the Moon, Uranus, Neptune & Pluto are
presently receding. All others are closing.
Don't be confused by the co-terms "benefic"
