IT SUCKED!!!!

Trust the computer industry to shorten "Year 2000" to Y2K. It was this
kind of thinking that caused the problem in the first place.

Hey, I liked Escape from New York. Escape from LA was a sequel that
did not need to be made.

I was stoned when I saw Escape from New York, but I don't smoke
dope no more. Is that what I was doing wrong?

I agree with you there. A Kurt Russell movie is not an automatic "must
see", but I loved "Used Cars". Forget the rest, except where noted below.

> Kurt Russell + Carpenter = Good.

Escape from LA entirely negates this point. This movie had no redeeming
qualities at all. Escape from New York and The Thing were great, but Escape
from LA just sucked on all levels. What were Cliff Robertson and Valeria
Golino thinking when they signed up for this? Stacy Keach probably needed
the money.

Hah. You probably liked Saturn 3.

Don't you dare dis Cherry 2000! It's one of my all time favourite really
bad scifi movies. It has the best bad guy _ever_.
