The Conditional Love of God

I am a medical student converted to Christianity under the
ministry of Brother Jed at the Florida State University. I have followed
in his footsteps by preaching the Gospel on college campuses, beaches,
and on the streets. I intend on writing articles here on a regular
basis.
Brother Jed wrote an article in his newsletter entitled, "The
Conditional Love of God." I would like to pursue your understanding of
the conditional love of God. First, what is the love of God? How does
God love man? Is God's love conditional or unconditional? If so, what are
the conditions? If not, why not? I will write an article on this topic
sometime this week. I just wanted to get some of you thinking about this
topic, perhaps studying what the Bible has to say about it, until I write
my article.
