I don't agree
That guy at ([24.160.242.167]) is using an open relay at (64.132.88.21)
I got 500 messages until I closed my firewall, you got 1000, apparently Noisebox got 2000;
all that on the same night
Cmeclax is dead, Green is half-dead
I have been bombed at a rate of 25.000 messages/dat for all summer

That guy wants to kill remailers, I want him offline
I will harass the abuse desk at roadrunner until they shut him down

Among options:
reopen my firewall and put a template on my mercury/32
to bounce back all messages to the various addresses I found with Whois
put those abuse desk addresses as my remailer's reply-to
...
ch...@808multimedia.com
de...@premiereit.net
hostm...@twtelecom.net
ab...@808multimedia.com
ab...@rr.com

I gave them 48 hours to shut down [24.160.242.167]
He wanted remailers down
I caught the mailbomber
I think all remops should strike back until the guy is out
That might teach the others a lesson, too.

"Cover traffic" suhggests there is some "real traffic" left, and that is questionable.
Having you "half-dead" is better for the attacker than having you "dead".
At war, weapons are designed to maim better than kill, because the ennemy will have to take care of his wounded ones. Same here: you clog the queues at all other remailers'.

Sending messages from disk to disk has nothing to do with sending mail on the network. Most of the (CPU) resources are burnt on retries, especially if the recipient is not there.

Cool :-)

Well, at least the troll is not flooding _this_ newsgroup. 25000
messages a day doesn't sound like fun at all!

Respects,
