FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PSI to Resell Software ventures Corp. Microphone with new InterRamp Personal
Internet Access Service

Personal Internet Access

Atlanta GA -- September 12, 1994 -- Networld+Interop 1994 -- Software Ventures
Corp. of Berkeley, CA and Performance Systems International, Inc. (PSI) of
Herndon, VA, today announced that PSI will resell an enhanced version of
Software Ventures Corporation's MicroPhone software that will provide
individual subscribers a front-end graphical user interface to PSI's newest
personal high speed service -- InterRampSM.

InterRamp is a powerful, yet cost-effective dial-up IP internetworking service
that provides individuals with direct access to the Internet using v.32bis or
fully digital 64 Kbps ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) connections.
InterRamp service offers the unique advantage of "real-time" connection to the
Internet to use popular graphical and multi-media applications such as Gopher,
MOSAIC and WAIS, as well as Electronic Mail, NEWS, Telnet, and FTP.

MicroPhone is widely recognized as the most sophisticated interactive
communications software for personal computers. Typically used for electronic
mail, access and retrieval of data from information services and corporate
databases, online research and interoffice data transfers, MicroPhone has
distinguished itself by making access to remote computers simple and
intuitive.

"The Fetch, Mail and News Reader applications are the best navigational tools
to date for navigating through the sea of electronic information", says Martin
Schoffstall, CTO and Vice President of Performance Systems International, Inc.

"Software Ventures is using its leading communications technologies to make
access to the Internet as intuitive as possible. This package offers the most
sophisticated set of tools available to Internet users," states David Hindawi,
President of Software Ventures.

InterRamp will be available through local access points in 40 cities
throughout the U.S. and 80 cities by December. PSI will be installing several
thousand ISDN ports throughout 1994 and 1995. It is expected that personal
ISDN access will become very popular because it offers individuals the most
affordable high speed Internet access of any carrier technology.

PSI is offering a special Pioneer Preference promotion to customers who
subscribe to InterRamp service before December 31, 1994. Customers will
receive three months of unlimited usage at an introductory rate of $29 per
month, for a total package price of $116, or for $200 with optional software
included in the package.

PSI is the nation's largest provider of commercial access to the Internet and
internetworking services for organizations and individual users of electronic
information. PSI's services range from electronic mail products to turnkey
integration of local area networks in the PSINet wide area network system and
the Internet.
