When George and Jerry got into the police car, George cracks a joke by asking
Jerry to crack the window in the back seat of the squad car (which most of us
know that you can't roll down the window). Anyway, when the car screeches up
in front of Kramer's apartment the two police officers run out of the car
leaving George, Jerry and that lunatic in the back. Jerry reaches his hand out
the back window and opens the door. I wonder if this is just something that
was overlooked or was it done purposely or does anyone really care!!!
Kramer killed me last night when he was getting drilled by the detective, and
started wimpering!
And when Jerry throws his keys to Kramer on the way out, then returns and throwshis keys at Jerry! God, this show is well written

I liked the way Jerry flinched when Kramer threw the huge keyring to
him.

What? Then what's the joke? I think the first poster was right.
No, I know the first poster must be right...you can't roll down the
windows in squad cars, that's the joke...what would be funny about
George asking him to close the window? That's what makes it even
funnier when they show up at Kramer's place and Jerry reaches his
hand out to open the door.
God...this group is getting to me...it's making me think too hard
about jokes that are funny the first time around, no thought involved.

I dunno, maybe the cops can roll down the windows remotely from the
front seat, and it was a hot day?
(notice that George makes a short pause in his sentence, therefore Jerry
knows that it's not a big favor [like moving furniture :)])
