No Sound from AOR, One Solution

A while back someone posted they could not get the sound from Age of Rifles
and one reply was that AOR freaks if you have more than one CD player in the
old PC. Messing around today with those supposed out moded DOS commands in
the Windows 98 Config.sys I solved the problem. This should work for some of
you that have a similar set up in your PC: I have Drive A (3.5 Floppy) Drive C
(Hard Drive) D(Normal CD) E(R/W CD). AOR freaks over D&E being CD drives, so
go into config.sys and add the following line lastdrive=d, then restart the
computer. The computer & AOR think there is only one CD reader and the sound
comes back. The negative is that windows 98 will ignore the E drive also, so
when your through playing AOR just go back into the config.sys and either put
rem in front of the last drive command or simply remove it then save & reboot.
P.S. I run AOR under Win 98 or a Win 98 DOS window.
