I have a Zire 71. It appears that after the alarm goes off, the palm
stays on until the battery dies.

Anyone know a fix for this?

Also, when I hotsync after losing all my data, I got an error about
the installer is incompatible with the system. How can I delete it?

Thanks

I have exactly the same problem with my Tungsten T2! Auto shut off works
fine except if there is a reminder active.

It appears that the problem is my case palm wallet case that I have
the zire in. Because I have a lot of cards in there, there's some
pressure on the screen. So when the alarm goes off, it won't shut off
if there's pressure on the screen.

I guess a solution (besides emptying my wallet case or not using it at
all) would be a notification program that doesn't turn the palm on &
just rings.

Think I could find something like this?
