I last posted about 2 months ago indicating that I was experiencing some
finger joint pain from the use of Quercetin. At that time about 5 other
people responded that they too were having that experience. At that time I
discontinued the Q and my pain went away. I have not posted since because I
have been feeling great for the last two months since stopping the Q.
First of all the Q is what stopped my prostatitis without a doubt. The
stuff is great (I'm a 6 year sufferer).
This past week I started a new flareup. I again started the Q and in about
4 days am feeling MUCH better. However, the joint pain has returned as
well. The first time I was on Q for about 2 months and did not experience
the joint pain (except for minor pain in one knuckle) until after several
weeks.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? The joint pain seems to be
moving to my elbow. Believe me I'd rather have the joint pain than the CP
but it certainly is a cause for concern. I don't want to stop Q because it
is the ONLY thing that has helped me. Also, it doesn't just help a little -
it helps a lot!
Any of you other guys who had the joint pain find away around this?
I'm taking the Twinlab Quercetin+C, 2 capsules a day. I ordered the prostaQ
but fear it may be worse in that 1 capsule contains 500mg of Q while Twinlab
requires 2 capsules for 500mg.
One possible link - over the past 6 years I have taken the Quinlones
(CIPRO, FLOXIN) etc.. After taking CIPRO for an extended time, my wrists
began to ache so I discontinued it. I never had finger joint pain but
possibly it screwed up my joints back then?
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. I want to keep the Q and
the wonderful feeling of being free of CP.
Thanks - Joe T.
I was on Q for almost a year, and I was experiencing some pain
just turning the steering wheel of my truck. Near the base of
the index finger where it joins the palm. I stopped Q back
in August because the HC-2000 allowed me too, and guess
what. The pain went away with that issue.
I have not been on Q since. I also stopped the kit kat pills too.
Some people made a mockery of this. But I can say the same
thing about Q.

Hmmm, I tried the Q and seemed to be in a major flare-up the whole time. For
what its worth I didn't notice an increase in pain with the Q. I have lots
of chronic pain but I recall having pains in the knees, hands and the bottoms
of my feet about the time I was on cipro. I usually just have neck and back
pain. My hands, knees and feet are fine since I have been off cipro.
Ciprofloxin is a deadly usless drug.
I thought I had MS when I was taking that shit. It destroys your tissue and can
also couse liver and kidney damage.
The drug companys along with doctors
will not addmit this side affect so watch your back guys. Also it turns out I
didnt need it anyway as there was no infection.
