Davis Linux User Group?!?

hello all

i'm making the plunge tomorrow--microsoft is getting evicted from my house
and redhat linux is coming to stay. i'm backing up my drives as i type...

is there a linux user group in davis? if not, are there people who might
be interested in forming one?

well, it's not specific to linux, it's all the Free *nix's.... see

it's still in the stages of forming, but that's what's there... there is
a Linux users group in sac, I think it's been mentioned on
ucd.comp.questions or possibly ucd.swap... check dejanews...
