word up. I'm white as well...and I can't stand it when other white people wear that
shit thinking they're hard or something. Fubu will never ever touch by body. It
just pisses me off when I see other white people wearing it, and when I ask them
what Fubu stands for, they don't know. and I tell them it stands for "For Us By Us"
meaning the black race, NOT WHITE! like this one fat ass wigger in my school, wears
a fubu jersey everyday, EVERYDAY. just different colors for each different day, its
mad annoying. don't get me wrong, hip hop is my life, the underground baby. but,
fubu is just not for me.

No.
For one thing, I've enver seen a black person wearing a kimono, and
another, "FUBU" stands for "FOR Us By Us", not just, say "By Us".

I believe "wigger" refers to "hip hop" (*shudder, I hate THAT word) "poseurs".

If "nigger" is such a racially discrimating word used against the "African Americans," then why is the WORLD do you "African Americans" go around calling EACH OTHER "nigger." Personally, I get tired of hearing it myself.... but I guess it is because I am white....hehehe....Duh....

§weEt~ThaNg wrote in message <19110-36...@newsd-133.iap.bryant.webtv.net>...
is still don't find fubu racial.....maybe cuz i'm black....hehehe....
Duh.....

then again i still also don't beleive in the same interpretation of the
phrase .....
anywayz....

and "wigger" stands for "wanna-be nigger".... which is why i don't like
the word....it has no reference to hip.... if u don't
understand....though u probably do....i was making a point that DJ calls
someone a "wigger" (nigger is used to degrade black people) while he
enjoys hip hop (an African American music style which was started by
black people)....see my point....

Or maybe I just live in a small, isolated town, where there are about five
African-Americans in a school of 1200 kids. No, I'm not exaggerating. It
really is that bad.

I just get the meaning that the company used to name itself.
If you don't like the fact that Fubu clothes are, in essence, rascist,
then write the compnay about it.

FUBU has some quite upscale distribution -- Macy's, for one.

Probably have and didn't know it.

You can go to their Web site and see what stores carry it.

http://www.fubu.com/

Quite a few: Macy's, Burdine's, The Bon Marché, Castner Knott, Maison
Blanche, Gayfer's, Herberger's, Joslin's, Carson Pirie Scott, J.C.
Penney, Stern's, Liberty House, Foley's, Kaufmann's, Dayton-Hudson, JB

don't pay attention to all of the "brothers" "ganking" the fubu.

Kinda helps if you ride off capitalism in general as evil and

Stop for a moment. Think of all the worthwhile, helpful things you COULD be doing,
