For those of you who don't have the latest S@H catalog yet --

You can now order a "Magical Box of Surprises" -- at least one Town, Space,
Castle, or Pirate small model plus two accesory bags. The value is greater
than or equal to $9.50 based on previous listings. Ages 6 and up. Piece
counts 80 and up.

#MB20 Magical Box of Surprises -- $8.00
#MB10 Ditto -- but just $5.00 when you order _anything_ else in the catalog.

Has anyone got any of these surprise packages? If so, what did you end up
with?

Has anyone called to find out if there is a limit on this item. It is the only
cool new item in the Spring Catalog and has possibilities. I never have ordered
the grab-bags S@H used to offer but this sounds similar or even better,
depending on which sets you end up with.

I did place an order for a Retrostation, and I tacked on a surprise. I'll let
you know what it was when I get it.

Not available in Canada. I like S@H but I hate the cross border differences.
Yet when I had a problem with a set the replacement came from the US.

I called S@H Friday afternoon to inquire about the Suprise item #MB10.

There is no limit to how many you may order. However, I was also
informed that they are all the same thing. What I mean is if you order
ten copies of #MB10 today, you will get ten identical items. Over,
time, I was told, the surprise will change.

My game plan is to order one or more surprises each time I place a S@H
order and see what I get. If I like what I get, I can always order more
hoping to get the same thing.

So does that mean that if I make any kind of order then I can order
5/10/whatever surprises I want at the lower price?

Yes, as I said, no limit. But there is no way to know what you will get
unless you order on Monday, for example, pay for rush delivery, like
what you get on Thursday and order more then. Clear as mud??

Given this, it'd be cool for the people who do order the surprise to post
when they placed their order and what they got....

But then it wouldn't be a surprise. Do it anyway. I want to know what's
in those. Without buying of course.
