Was a little dissapointed by CMOT Dibbler, I imagined him to be a little
more un-normal looking and with the voice of 'Boycey' from 'Only Fools and
Horses'

Don't you think Death looks like 'Skeletor' from the old 'He-Man'
Cartoons?!?! :o)

Actually, that's exactly how I envisaged him - well, *looks* like Boycey
(HOW do you spell that, anyway?), but *talks* like Arthur Daley.... "Used
cart, guv'nor?". Didn't like Asphalt much though, but I thought
[Cliff\Lias]'s voice was just perfect. As for the continual changing of
backdrops\costumes whilst on tour... great. Pity they missed most of the
Blues Brothers jokes out ("Four fried rats" "Tails or heads?" "No, four
fried rats" "Ketchup?" or "We're on a mission from Glod."), but we can't
have everything :(
Anyone know if there's plans to do any other books (apart from SM & WS, of
course) like this? I can just imagine Small Gods...

i too found certain characters a tad dissapointing. Foul Ole Ron wasn't
too foul, and put together too many cohesive sentences. But then again,
it wasn't put together by a discworld fan (although i could be wrong),
and therefore was presented in a different way than it could've been[1].

I'd pictured 'Throat more like Flash 'Arry from the 'St. Trinians' films
(still played by George Cole, just a younger version of the same character).
My biggest problem with both of the films was that there were too many
different accents.
Although, CLs voice was spot on!

Everyone has their own ideas of how the various characters should
look/sound based on their reading of the book. Given how
divergent those ideas will be, it would be impossible for any
film or animation to please everyone all the time. :-)

If you don't like the blurbs, get the calendar with the covers from
M, F^HE, WS, TCOM, RM, MP, SM, G!G!, Maskerade and the double book
TCOM/LF plus Death In His Study, which has been used for the Death
trilogy. I got it for my birthday.
The ISBN is 1-876274-89-1.
When the year is up, I'll dismatle my version and mount the artwork in

invite community works -- police, firemen -- along to give a chat? Now
just imagine who *she* could invite...

Looks like the plan is working folks.
Not only are we getting the rest of the world hooked on Pterrys books,
but we've now got Pterry so addicted he can't stop writing them. :-))
