When you do a Google search for "measurable cardinals", you get a link
to the following post to FOM of July 1999

claiming the Louis de Branges has a purported proof of the
inconsistency of measurable cardinals on his website.

It's not there any more.

I don't suppose anyone knows anything about it?

it's well-known that proofs due to de Branges sometimes
turn out to be wrong. (And of course they sometimes
turn out to be spectacularly right...)
