For the second time in 3 weeks the top ranked Rainbows faced the
second ranked team in the nation. Again, the rainbows came out on
top. The Bows won 15-7, 15-13, 15-5 and completed the 3 match road
trip (all against ranked opponents) without losing a single game.
Hawaii which hit over .400 as a team, was led again by sensation Yuval
Katz. He put down 30 kills in 51 attempts. According to the report,
the Bows outhit, outblocked, and outdug the Gauchos. From the look of
the scores, it seems that was the case. Next up for the Rainbows is
Long Beach State, who will most likely move up to #2 with the Gaucho
loss. Could it be three times in four weeks a 1 vs 2 matchup?
