Hi folks,

I'm looking for a program to make a schedule for a hockey tournament.

we have a tournament of two days, men and women, grass and astroturf, and it's so terrible difficult to do by hand

If you know anything: drop me a line

Thanks

I have made the schedule for 23 tournaments with as many as 90 teams
playing in 8 divisions. After looking at several computer programs I
believe it is easier to do it by hand because there is always one team
that must arrive late or leave early or this reason or that.

When you factor in all the variables it seems easier to do by hand
although you still need a system.

The system I use allows for as many teams as on could imagine in a
tournament. It is always more difficult with an odd number of teams in a
pool, say eleven or thirteen, especially if you want to determine who is
the best team.

If you want more info, let me know.

P.S. If you want to know how to enter California Cup XXV, just ask. It
is the last weekend in May of each year and has a place for teams of both
genders and ever age and ability.

There is a software called EZ Score which you can purchase from a company
in England. It costs about 80 pounds sterling. If you like I can e-mail
you the address of the company. I have used it to plan league programmes
for up to 12 teams and it works like a dream.
