2004-03-08 - Summary of mozilla.org staff meeting

Present: blizzard, scc, gerv, peterv, leaf, mitchell, bart, ben, jst,
myk, chofmann, dbaron, asa, mscott, bart.

*Mozilla 1.7b update*

- Freeze tomorrow at midnight
- Shooting for release on Friday

*Firefox 0.9 update*

- Ben's put together a plan of the needed Gecko changes
- Changes to xpinstall, xpcom (extensions)
- All focussed on profile migration and extensions
- Also GNOME desktop integration; all pre-1.0, but post-0.9 for some.

*Thunderbird*

- mscott is still working on junk control stuff
- A little bit on the installer also

What is he doing with junk control? Please say it has something to do
with greater accuracy, as I might have to use imap +
bogofilter/spamprobe/etc to get more accurate two word Bayesian
filtering. :-/

Do you read http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/ documents, in
particular http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/extensions/ ?
