Okay, I have watch GH since I was in high school (about 18 years) back
when Laura was a troubled teen. I believe we were about the same age
then. I have taken a few years off here and there, but now I am back. I
don't remember the character Bobbie ever being as bad as she is now. In
the beginning, she used to have this really annoying habit of not
breathing when she had a long line to say, but other than that, she was
OK. After watching her performance two days ago, when Toni anounced he
had invited Felicia and Maxi to sit with them, I can now see where all of
the critizism is coming from. SHE WAS ATROCIOUS!!! Either the actress
has become much worse over the years, or I have become more critical.
Her facial reactions were increadibly forced. I think she was trying to
get acrossed the fact that she was disappointed that Tony was inviting so
many people to join them, but GEEZE, eye's pop open - eye's pop semi-closed
- eye's roll, each movement more dramatic than the next. Totally
irritating and inappropriate. (And I'm sure my opinions have not been
tempered by the slapper club ;), can I join??).

Whew, glad to have that off my chest. I will now start skipping scene's
with her in them; I can get all I need by just watching her face, no
sound needed.

Oh yeah, and what nurse in her right mind would clomp around in heals
like that??? It seems she is only a real "nurse" when a primary
character is in the hospital for some reason. Otherwise, she looks like
she was just sprung off a Fredericks of Hollywood cover.

Just my 0.02.

Here, here! But actually I recommend MHGC Boobie AND the Drill Team.
Minty, are ya out there?

And, drill team members, how would you feel about an optional exercise
involving significant slapping of Katybell? Sabotaging a charity
event is pretty looooow.....

I'll go first -

HEY, KATYBELL....... SLAP! SLAP! SLAP! SLAP! SLAP!

Lisa: Loved your "Bobbie" post on Zeman's poor acting. The worst part
was her Emmy dress being used at the Nurses Ball. She resembled the
mate for the moose at the intro to "Northern Exposure".

Watch HSC and see her push facial creams & vitamins. She has the
same whine & tone to her voice as she does on GH. That is Zeman!!!
I am irritated by the tone of her voice & the horrid makeup she
wears............At least when Schell is on, she is cute tho her clothes
are overpriced & resemble loungewear more than anything else.

Also Zeman is the new Sally Struthers for a "matchbook college", so
we know that school is for FULL FIGURED women (VBEG).

Normally I don't mind Zeman, though sometimes the voice is a bit much,
but last Monday she was talking to Stone about AIDS and she
kept breaking up her
phrases in odd
places, like
this,
and it was apparent she was reciting lines without any thought of working
with their meaning. It was the requisite AIDS sermon-du-jour, and
obviously she didn't feel like studying the lines and making them real
to Bobbie.

He was at the hospital waiting for his prescription, and asked her about
the AIDS Outreach Program.

She didn't know that HE had AIDS, but he was asking her some questions
in the hospital lounge about AIDS in general and she was answering him,
without being aware how interested he was in the answers. Michele

Yes, Bobbie did talk to Stone, and then Alan came up to tell him his
T-cell count was up...

I disagree with Jan though....After watching Bobbie for over 20 yrs now,
I am used to her voice when she has a cold...She loses her voice, and in
general sounds like it is an *effort* to speak....That was my impression
of her talk with Stone....The actress cant help it if thats the way a
cold affects her. Dont get me wrong tho, it is IMENSLY irritating....

Blobbie was talking to Stone about AIDS just generally, she didn't at that time
know he had AIDS. When Alan came up to talk to Stone, Blobbie went away. Then
Alan told Stone about his t-cell count.

Attributions a little off here, Im not sure who wrote the bit about
"I dont remember Bobby..etc"...But I only wrote the second two lines.
Guess I wasnt specific enough, but I didnt say Bobbie KNEW he had AIDS,
I simply said she did talk to him about AIDS, which she did....
