If you use Mozilla, Firebird & Co. in Windows then try
Cortona from Parallelgraphics:
http://www.parallelgraphics.com/products/cortona/download/

Or Contact VRML from Bitmanagement:
http://www.bitmanagement.de/download/BS_Contact_VRML/cnt-index.php

At http://cic.nist.gov/vrml/vbdetect.html there is a table of most VRML
plugins, programs, and applets and where you can run them.

If your objective is to simply view vrml models in a web applet
you can use FastScript3D which can use either the vrml97 loader
or the x3d vrml loader. It works under Mozilla. But if the vrml
has animation in it, then you should use one of the suggested
browsers. If not, you can load the vrml parts into FastScript3d
and animate the components using FastScript3d commands.
