Only joking... :-). I'm after a book that full of useful physics formulae
and short information on their use, but no examples. I'm currently
constantly referring to my high school physics book for obscure formulae
but there are ones it doesn't have that I want, such as Kepler's laws etc.
So does anyone know of a good book that isn't textbook style, but more a
cheat sheet for formulae? Thanks,

David

"Fundamental Formulas of Physics", edited by D.H. Menzel. Two little

Download my one page, Physics Property Chart at:
http://home.earthlink.net/~tdp

It shows the relationships between the physical properties
much like the Periodic Chart shows the relationships between the elements.

With a little experience,
you can use the chart to instantly find equations,
such as Kepler's, Newton's, Ohm's Law, etc.

It is a pity Dirk did not start it in the days when "srp" (Andre
Michaud) was still a regular contributor. Perhaps he will re-emerge
from his cocoon one day, for our general amusement.

Unfortunately I do not have the time to translate the French

By the way, josX is translating all his own fumbles into
nl.wetenschap, "wetenschap" being Dutch for "science" ;-)

My French is limited to reading a menu and ordering food & drink, so I
am denied the pleasure of following his french letters, if that is not a
rude expression.

My mistake.
I figured that if something

smelled like a horse's ass.,
acted like a horse's ass.,
and its' sole function was passing horseshit,
that it was a horse's ass.

Regarding Maxwell's geometry, the most elaborate description that I ever
came across of the space geometry that must underlie Maxwell's Theory
simply states that a magnetic field and an electric field orthogonally
intersect each other and that both of them intersect space at right
angle.

I offer the following, also from the same paper of Andre Michaud. It
decorates the pile of bullshit even better. Let Dirk vdM take his
choice.

QUOTE
Although I never saw this point being emphasized, it eventually became
obvious to me that the orthogonally intersecting magnetic and electric
fields envisioned by Maxwell could not reside within our 3-dimensional
space as we know it, since their intersection was defined as being
orthogonal to space itself. The logical conclusion I drew was that they
hinted at the existence of some unexplored extra-spacial dimensions.
UNQUOTE

Some time ago, I started collecting gems from that paper, but I was in
danger of getting a laughter-induced heart attack, so I stopped.

And neither do you. But you sure know how used tires work.

No, it's your _opinion_.

Good luck. I mean that sincerely.

I have always stated it is correct about the atomic clocks "malfunction"
only.
I have never stated the clocks do not show "different times"

I have stated.
It is wrong in stating "time changed" "as the cause of such"
and other clocks show the "different time changes" prove it wrong
about "time changing"

so.
My position has not changed at all.
The clock malfunctioned
Time has not changed rate at all.
and all clocks agree with me.
(not just one like GR,SR and QM allow)

Until you research all clocks, you are
missing the facts that do prove them all wrong about "time".
Or.
stay the ignorant time travel troll you are, forever "in time"

As I state and you refuse to do.
research all clocks.

Time does not change rate
clocks malfunction.

That is the FACT about the clock.
and it should not matter if it came from the rock I supposedly am.
It is still a fact!

No,
The Earth spins at one rate WRT the Sun for all.
it is not an opinion.
It is a measured fact all over this world.

you are a moron.
sheesh.

If you truly meant that,
you would have not posted the above lie
and you would research all clocks for once.
I see you have not researched any clocks yet at all.
for if you did.
you would not even bother arguing with such facts I post.
(unless of course, you are just a troll)
and that would be all your own problem that nobody else
can fix except you.

Title "Assfixations":

http://users.pandora.be/vdmoortel/dirk/Physics/ImmortalFumbles.html#HorseAss

Dirk Vdm

Dirk's post is a classic example of what I call the "Horse's Ass Syndrome".

Immoral people commonly promote their personal agenda,
by consuming clean information,
passing the information through their system,
excreting it as horseshit,
and trying to equate the horseshit with the original information.

Note that the original thread went as follows:
1. Someone asked for an outline of physics.
2. I posted that my Physics Property Chart did this.
3. Kirk tried to divert the poster to horseshit on his personal web site.
4. I suggested to the poster that it was better to get his
information from the "horse's mouth" rather than from the "horse's ass".
5. After additional comments by "Spaceman" and I,
Dirk posted only the part that makes it look like he is the
one who was being attacked, rather than showing that he was the attacker.

Dirk's actions are equivalent to taking two sets of data,
and using only the cross-correlations that cater two one's
personal prejudice or agenda.

In other words, Dirk's positions are heavily biased toward his
prejudice or agenda, rather than truth and reality.
It is wise for true seekers of objective reality
to ignore the positions of people like Dirk, as they
tell you more about the person, than about objective reality.

A word to the wise.
Editorial comments, regurgitated information, and history books
are what comes out of a "horse's ass",
not what goes in the "horse's mouth".

If you want good, clean oats,
get them before they go through the horse.
By the same token,
if you want good, clean, accurate information,
get it from the "horse's mouth",
not from the "horse's ass".
