Exciting news
The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry has now published the December 2001
edition.
Two of the published articles detail the work of the University of
Calgary's Dr. Bonnie Kaplan and a commentary by Dr. Charles Popper of
the Harvard Medical School, Mclean Hospital.
In summary the articles describe the use of E.M.Power+ used in
clinical research with patients suffering with Bipolar Disorder.
In the U of C work "all outcome measures showed significant
improvements". "and a strong effect size (>.80)" Wow!!
The Harvard work demonstrated some exciting data as well. "Among the
15 patients who were treated with medications when they began the
nutritional supplement, 11 patients have been stable for 6 to 9 months
without psychiatric medications."
This represents 73% of the 15 patients no longer requiring
medications.
