We have noticed that a program called Svaplayer present on a couple of our
machines. This app runs in the background making calls to sites called
reg.streamingcash.com or ps1.streamingcash.com. An assumption is that part
of this program is used for marketing purposes and potentially could be
reporting back on your browsing activities. Searching the registry revealed
the source, www.quickflicks.com, which appears to provide a plugin for Real
Player. As this application does not seem to make its intentions clear and
the installer is unsigned, we have removed it from our workstations.
Incidently it is interesting to note that the ip address of
reg.streamingcash.com, ps1.streamingcash.com and that of www.quickflicks.com
trace back to the same organisation.

To check for this application search for svaplayer on your filesystem and
additionally check your task lisk to see if its running.
Although removal instructions are available by emailing
unin...@quickflicks.com we chose to kill the process and remove the app
from the filesystem and registry (take care).
If anyone has any further information we would be most interested to hear.
