Froggy, you are my hero.

While self-proclaimed experts Palfrader and Sassaman are not even able
to maintain their own keys and let them expire miserably, you find the
ways to check what happens on others' keyrings.
You should write a book: maybe, if you add lots of pictures, the
unholy pair might learn the basics.

Enlarged characters and pictures are not the way to attract
self-proclaimed experts.
You don't catch flies with vinegar, but every species got its own idea
of honey.
Trolls like to quote statistics which don't exist, and dusty technical
books they did never read.

At best, they will go direct for the fine print at the end of the
rarest publication:
they will try to look brilliant by plagiarizing the absconse
discussion around some peculiar case, while ignoring the basic
definitions and guidelines laid in Chapter One.

Boschloos, Sassamans, Palfraders, Oranges are very much alike,
endorsing vague speculations about hypothetical attacks, but unable to
check a PGP signature or to maintain a key or to
set the system date.

It is also widely believed, among apprentice programmers, that showing
unable to perform mundane tasks will automatically qualify them for
managerial jobs.
The marketplace got a different opinion, and they often switch to
raising bees or growing hydroponic carrots, well before retirement
time.
