Hi Marnia

The ME Society in my city had a seminar last week and this doctor spoke. It
was interesting. I bought a copy of the journal. It seems the internist I
just starting seeing uses this criteria. Finally a doctor who understands and
does not say it's in my head!! Now if only work would understand and support
my claim for disability. The internist has me on a graded exercise and sleep
program. To my surprise the exercise is making me feel better. I have more
energy the last week than I have had in 7 months. Also taking numerous
vitamins. The sleep med he prescribed is zaleplon and tryptophan. Started it
two nights ago and it helps me fall alseep fast but then I wake uphalf way
thru the night and don't sleep well after that. I need something that will
allow an eight hour sleep. Any ideas?

Thanks
Monique

A long time ago I saw something about naet, I didn't understand it, but
printed it out to ask my doctor about. Later I decided it was some kind
of scam and threw the information in the garbage. Then one day my
doctor, who is and interist, mentioned naet to me and said he was going
to take the courses. If he were not my doctor, who I trust, I would
never of tried naet. I still think naet is very weird, but I have found
my life has changed because of it. I have been doing naet since last
july, taking breaks here and there if I didn't want to deal with it, or
as often happens, when I am sick.

I had, thanks to cfs, developed LOTS of allergies, including food
allergies. I have now been cleared for dairy, sugar, salt, seseme seeds,
wheat, corn, soy, egg, corn and shellfish as far as food goes. I am now
able to eat anything, anywhere, anytime I want. If this were all naet
did for me, I feel like I have my life back again.

My feet used to swell a lot, when I ate very salty foods, esp on a
cruise ship, where I had to have every thing cooked specialy for me
without salt. On my cruise in Jan. I ate whatever I wanted, did not have
anything cooked special for me and had no problems at all.

Since we have been talking about smoke, my son in law smokes like a
chimney. When I would kiss him hello, my tounge would get fuzzy and my
asthma would act up. I was treated for smoke before I last saw him and I
had no reaction at all. We also went to a restaurant, where we had a
long wait, in a smokey bar and I had no problems.

I have also been treated for Vit C, Vit B, iron, mineral mix, candida,
pollen, leather and with a "CFS Vial". I am probably missing some things.

The CFS Vial was totaly amazing. Since this treatment I have a lot more
energy and am more clear minded more often. I also no longer get what I
used to call "my cfs sore throat and swollen glands". My ribs no longer
hurt when I do to much.

I was treated for leather, because I was allergic to my new car. I
always knew I was alleric to leather, but never thought about it when we
got a new car. I knew something was bothering me, but couldn't figure it
out, then it dawned on me, that I was reacting the same way as when I
wore my leather coat. I brought my leather coat to the doctor with me
and he treated me using the coat. I am no longer allergic to my coat,
car or leather purse!! Don't know what I would of done about the car, if
it weren't for naet.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wrote this in an old post and still feel it is true. I am not cured,
but am improving greatly and my quality of life is so much improved, I
find it hard to believe the different:

I think that the NAET treatments, including the CFS Vial have made a
hugh difference for me. I am not cured, but am able to do so much more
then I could before. I still have a lot of things to be treated for and
I believe that my health, CFS and Asthma, will continue to improve as
we go along.

=================================================================================

I will now copy and paste some information from a previous naet post of
mine. If anyone has any question, ask and I will try to answer them.

the vial up to your forehead and the pr. does acupressure on your

Most times you will test strong, but on occasion you will have to repeat
this process.

Monique... I don't have any answers for you except that valarian (it's a
VERY stinky herb)at bedtime will help with sleep, just follow the directions
on the bottle or ask your doc about it. Or get a book on herbs. Also
lavender as aromatherapy in your bedroom and on your pillow helps some
people sleep better. My question is where did you find this doc you are
seeing??? Hopefully close by me. lol I'm in Connecticut. I could use
someone who could help with understanding and getting me back some energy.
Thanks,
~Missy

I'm not familiar with zaleplon.

What works for me is a combination of a low dose of clonazepam
(Klonopin) - 0.75 mg, plus desyrel (Trazedone) which I have taken for
years for depression. I add one capsule of L-theanine to help me relax
(www.lef.org), and diphenhydramine HCl (Benadryl). The combination
makes me fall asleep and stay asleep through the night.

Another thing to think about if you're waking up halfway through the
night is your blood sugar. For several years before I was diagnosed as
diabetic (type II, NIDDM), I would wake up halfway through the night and
not be able to get back to sleep unless I ate something. Having a snack
before bed helped eliminate these early wakings. There's a particularly
good one called ExtendBar that is proven to maintain level blood sugar
for 9 hours - Google on the name and you'll find their website. I think
they still have a free trial offer.

(by the way, I have no financial connections with anything mentioned here)

Hope that helps!

I am glad you found someone, but sorry it is two hours away and he will
only be there once a month. Guess that is better then nothing(grin).
Remember that after a treatment, you most likely will be very wiped out,
that day and the next. I hope your mom will be driving.

Let us know what you think and how it goes.
