In editing mode If there is one checker on the bar I'm not able to
remove it from there. It's no problem to reduce to one if there are
more on the bar, but with one I always have to reset the whole posion.
What am I doing wrong ( or is it a bug ? )
Thanks for any help

it's a little tricky but here's how to do it:

to remove the last checker from the bar for "player 0" you have to click
the checker with the right mouse button and hold the click, you then
move the mouse pointer upwards while still holding your click (as if
you're dragging basically); continue dragging upwards and eventually you
will see that the checker disappears. NOTE: depending on the number of
checkers in the ditch, you might actually see that you are adding
checkers to the bar but never mind this, just keep dragging and
eventually all checkers will be gone.

To remove the last checker for "player 1" proceed similarly but use the
left mouse button and drag downwards.

thanks for responding; while trying I found out that you can take any
number checkers from the bar by rightclicking above the point where
the third checker would be placed.

Yes, that also works. One just has to be precise on the click and click
just slightly above the 3rd checker, too much above and nothing happens.

board? Coudn't find out yet.

Tanks in advance!

Normally you would click above a checker to add a further checker to
that point. However, when you reach a count of 5 checkers on a point
then you need to click _on_ the 5th checker to add further checkers to
that point - clicking above would actually bring up the set dice dialog
in this case. Adding a large number of checkers to the bar is also the
same procedure, only there the critical number is 3 instead of 5
checkers.
