Composer that comes with Mozilla 1.0 is CRAP.
I created a webpage with it, ran it through the
W3C HTML 4.01 Strict checker, and there were
stupid errors everywhere, that were no fault of my
own.

It was only a very basic webpage consisting of
text (different colors/sizes), one download link,
two pictures.

Anyone know of a GOOD wep-page design
program?

IIRC Composer uses HTML 4.01 Transitional.

stone and chisel. I'm honestly amazed that notepad still gets kudos as
being the best html editor ever (these people probably still prefer machine
language and drive '67 chevys). There's been so many modern and time saving
advances in "text" html editors (like syntax coloring, automated tag
inserting, etc) that to remain a notepad proponent is literally tying one
hand behind your back (homesite is an excellent example of this). I can't
imagine a company actually paying for this laborious process when so many
'modern' options are available (not that I think of *text* html editors as
being in anyway *modern*).
