After reading "Bring it on BB",(It's like reading fu#king War and Peace). It
came to a point when they started discussing being slashed and knifed, Well
I was once stabbed with a knitting needle by my ex-wife, Fu#king Hell it
didn't half burn.
So I haven't that much of a scar (I don't think you could see it with a
Microscope).
Well come on then who's got the biggest.

Scar, I assume.

I've got one on my shin that's 8 1/2 inches long by 1/4-1/2 an inch
wide, for a start. Car smash.
A nasty 'C' shaped one on my forehead that's the diameter of the base
of a Newky Brown bottle.
Inside top of thigh, puncture wound scar half an inch diameter.
The majority of my knuckles are scar tissue from draggin' 'em on the
ground, as is most of my right shoulder, also from draggin' it on the
ground.
Lots of little scars on my arse and back from falling over in a shower
and taking the glass stall with me, then smashing it to bits on impact
with the floor.

I may not have the biggest, but if total area counts ...

That's cos Knitting needles are relatively blunt, lots of trauma, I
cut myself (accidentally) on a fairly regular basis, but because all
my knives are sharp, sometimes I don't notice until I see the blood.

Ahem,
300 stitches in left leg. Bike smash.
14 stitches in right knee. Bike smash.
4 stitches in right thigh. Bike smash.
total of 16 stitches from various cuts in left hand.
12 stitches left eyebrow. Budweiser bottle.

I really don't know what the total length of scars would be and I
don't intend getting the tape measure out to see if I *measure up* but
I suppose it must be around 3 feet.

I suspect the serial crasher Steven Packer will probably beat this lot
easily.

If it's just surface area, then I might well win .

Immunisation scar on my arse from when I was a wee nipper.
Seems to have expanded in scale with the rest of me, must be,
ohh......3" diameter :)

I knelt on a broken bottle when I was younger.

I knelt on another broken bottle when I was a
little older.

Someone threw a pitchfork at me and I jumped out
of the way. The pitchfork bounced and stuck in my
ankle.

Then someone stabbed me in the neck.

I accidentally slit open my wrist, palm of my hand
_and_ my little finger all at the same time.

Then this surgeon opened my foot "....it'll just
be a little scar...." Lying bastard.

So I don't have big scars, but I do have a lot.

Actually the scar is quite small considering, about a span. 19 staples

Fu*king 'ell Andy,
you must resemble a railway map...

Ok lets see,
2 x 3" scars on each big toe = Bunions (I know) [1]
2 x hole scars on right shin from traction pin = Car crash
7" scar underlining left knee = Car crash
7" scar on right thigh = Car crash
2 x 8" scars on right hip = Car crash
1.5" shorter right leg = Car crash [2]
Lost tip of finger = Door
1" scar on right arm, skin graft = Door
1" scar on left thumb = Stanley (ouch)
1.5" scar on left wrist = Stanley
2" scar on forehead = Tarzan Swing (I know) [3]
Numerous lumps and bumps on head [4]

So what have I learned from the above?
[1] Don't have bunion operations just so that you can get out of the cross
country run in PE.
[2] When crashing BIG, do it in a cage, 24 ton lorries argue, they argue a
lot :(
[3] Check condition of rope.

14 inches (which was more half [1] my waist measurement when I had a

Oh, go on then, can't miss out on this.

4 inch scaron left middle finger (fell off a ladder 10yrs ago and ripped it
open on a screw on the way down)
3 inch one from skin graft taken from left arm last year to finally allow
finger to straighten
3 inch scar across right shin (can't remember where from)
Neat line (all that's left of the scar) around my right wrist (no, I didn't
slash myself, don't know what caused that one...
Plus odds and sods

making a grand total of approximately 3 feet worth. So I'm not doing badly.
What the hell have I been doing? :)

It's not big but I've got a 2.5cm scar on my thumb were I almost cut it off

About 10 inches up my right arm from index finger tip to way past my wrist.

I achieved this trying to retrieve a rubber ball my sisters dog had managed
to half swallow, and it was struck a long way down her throat. She didn't
take to kindly to me reaching in to get it and proceeded to chew lumps outa
my arm.

Yes I got it out
Yes it hurt
and the dog lived to a grand old age of 18!

Starting to fade now thank god!

Not me - I do have loads of them, though :

1.5cm scar about left eye (landed on head in push bike accident, age 19)
1.5cm scar on chin (landed on head in tricycle accident, age 6)
3 1cm scars on back of head that show just after a no.1 haircut (one caused by
1/2-brick during riot in Belfast, one from being shoved into a door frame,
the other not sure)
3cm x 2cm scar on left elbow (fell down stairs out of my face on skunk)
5mm scar on right hand, (caused at age 12 by being stabbed on the back of the
hand by a hot 25W soldering iron).

etc.

So then, are we also counting how many?

Roight, here we go:

Left elbow - 3cm
Ankle (both sides) - 10cm and 12cm
Left thigh - 1.5cm
Left Hand - 8cm
Hernias (both sides) 5cm and 5cm
Index finger left hand - 0.8cm

So that makes 45.3cm in all.

My (then 11-y-o) brother managed to skewer himself on his pushbike
brake handle at the top of the thigh... Urrrghhh. I can still hear the
noise it made when it came out.

*shudder*

Somehow it managed to avoid hitting anything vital.

I had to walk the bloodstained bike back round to my parents house.

only about 4", got glassed as a kid - about 9 years old was out playing with
friends when a big brother of one of them came over with his mates, it got
ugly...one young brat got a broken bottle and flailed it around...aimed at
me who got in his way unfortunately and at the top of my right thigh is was
a deep gash. Ran like hell, course couldn't tell me mum about it as I was
playing with people she didn't like, where I shouldn't have been. Have
still got the scar now..but yea, its fading slowly, still see it clearly
when I get a suntan.

My sister did the same thing, garden fork straight through her foot. Ended
up in casualty all fecking night - I was very unimpressed at the time.

Femoral artery. Not a good one to cut because lots of blood goes down
the gutter. I know this is true and I also know that if certain first
aiders didn't nick stuff from work and stop the blood from spilling
very quickly I'd be in a pot at the crem.

ooh, that reminds me of my old mate Howard. Or rather, his girlfriend

of his parents as they arrived to meet her for the first time. :-)

After getting me arm sorted, nursey decided I'd need a tet' jab.

"How many times have you had this?"

"Dunno"

"When was the last time?"

"Dunno. 3-4-5 maybe 6 years ago?"

"Have you had any more accidents that you needed the jab for?"

"Yeah, loads."

"OK, I'm going to give you one now, but frankly, you're never going to
need another."

"Oh, ok. Ta."

Thats me sorted now then.

Long story.
I'd spent the evening propping up the bar of the Grand Hotel
commisserating with a 63 year old fella who'd lost his wife a year ago
but come back to the UK from Germany & was chuffed to discover he
could still get it up for a a 19 year old Pro. About One-ish I went
for a piddle.

There were a couple of fellas in there from a wedding do, & one of
them was clearly in barney mode, eff-ing & blinding at everybody for
talking to his girlfriend, then made eye contact with me & decided to
fixate on me. I said "If your girlfriend is a 60 odd year old bloke
then fair enough" & carried on piddling. Turned around when I'd
finished & he was getting more & more pissed off. I looked at him, &
he'd set his heart on a fight. I wasn't going to be able to talk my
way out of this one, he was going to go for it regardless of what I
said.

I've always walked away from fights but this time I thought "Bugger
it. I'm not going to be able to avoid this, & I'm sick & tired of
being the one to walk away" So I cracked him one in the nuts. He took
umbrage to this & shoved me backwards, & unfortunately I was stood in
front of a window. I was most upset that his friends hustled him away
& ran after him to come back until a porter rounded me up & called an
ambulance.
The glass in the tit was a real frightener when they pulled it out. It
was deep & must have just hit a rib, otherwise I'd've punctured a
lung, by the looks of it.

My brother was playing "split the kipper" (strange knife throwing game,
where you keep narrowing the gap between your feet while the other
thorws the knife there). And put the knife in his mates toe.

ooh done that one while working on a building site. Also managed to run

Yes probably. Although to be fair it wasn't the surgeons fault but the nurse
at my (then) GP who cut the stitches then pulled the wrong end so the knot
was pulled through the wound from top to bottom causing me to jump about six
feet in the air and the wound, which up to that point had been healing
nicely to open right up.

My father-in-law does this sort of thing all the time. As does his
older brother[1], who is the Nijinsky of temporary repairs with parcel
tape, and sneaking off to Casualty to get stitched and bandaged before
the wife finds out.

[1]If you're ever in the vicinity of Eastleigh Airport, look out for a

Fortunately, I am 'uncut'

I am of the opinion that male circumcision is nothing short of genital
mutilation. And there's research that shows that circumcised men get
less pleasure from sex too.

My tuppence worth...

I have a 4" scar on my right knee I achieved chasing a burglar across a
pitch black building site - I tripped on something and fell over, got up and
caught him. Then I found a big hole in my knee.

A 2" scar on my chin where a fence gave way underneath me as I clambered
over it, chasing another burglar, and I landed face first on the concrete
path on the other side.

Some small scars on my right arm, where a bonehead police dog mistook me for
the robber I was chasing, and grabbed hold of my arm.
The dog has a truncheon shaped dent on its head.

Woah there Stu, That nice ickle Police Dog was just doing his job.
How would you like it if everytime you grabbed the wrong guy them hitting
you with a bit of hard maple.

I'd agree with that. Whole-heartedly, if not whole.

I couldn't say -- I can't remember what it was like before. I can tell
you that, after the pain, unpleasantness and abstenance (``morning
glory'' was bad enough) had passed that *considerable* pleasure was
taken.

And it's better that the alternatives, in some cases. I certainly
wouldn't recommend it for fun, hygiene, religious or cosmetic
purposes.

I have heard that there's evidence that you're less likely to catch
certain STDs (HIV being one of them) if you're circumcised, though.
Something to do with more fragile viruses needing a warm, cosseted
environment and thin skin to penetrate. Recent documentary on the AIDS
problem in Africa.

I don't grab the wrong guy :-)

And

It fscuking hurts when a very big German Shepherd Dog bites you on the arm.
They bite very hard. And the damn thing wouldn't let go, its handler being
about two hundred yards behind me. It let go after application of said
truncheon. I did let it chew the truncheon up instead of my arm again
though.

Not me.

Got a 1"x.5" scar on my left wrist where it got slashed by
glass when I were young, and acompanying 1.5" linear scar on
the ball of the associated palm. There's also a .75"x.25" scar
on my upper arm from the same incident

On my right eyelid there's a upside down triangular scar,
probably .33" at its widest point. This is where I got my eyelid
caught on a hook at playschool. Apparently I broke the ickle bone
insie the eyelid, and I'm quite lucky that my eyeball managed to stay
perfectly intact.

Got a 4"x.25" scar on my right thigh from where I got slashed by
barbed wire. It didn't get stitched, hence it's size.

There's miscelanous other scars in places I can't remember, and tonnes
of stretch marks, all around my waist, upper legs, and the bits in
between, and pretty much around every joint.

I'm sure I've left some out. Ooh, and my right front tooth is fake,
after it got smashed on some bumper cars when I was ickle.

All this, and I haven't even got me own bike yet.

A man walks into a bar and asks for an entendre.
"Single or double?" "Double."
He gave him one.

Another UoY inhabitant? Is Molly here yet?

I notice we've got our very own bike parking bays now, next to the
security centre.

So you've flattened a Cat in your car and bounced your truncheon off a
dog's head.

Got something against animals?

Doesn't count, since it's caused in a proper operation, unless
you've done it yourself with a broken glass bottle and some
fishing line.

Well, that figures, don't it? If the chap gets less pleasure, it
takes longer to arrive.

Actually, I'm normally very calm. (Except when bitten by bloody stupid
police dogs. And horses, but that's another story).

The cat ran out from under a parked van as I was alongside it. I don't brake
for such things as I'm not going to risk getting tail ended / loss of
control etc for a cat. (Not that I had time in this instance anyway).

As for animals, well we have - 1 rabbit, 1 guinea pig, 1 dog, 2 rats, and a
tank full of fish. None of which bite me.

Stu.
