When I try to run scoadmin on systems with 5.0.5 or 5.0.4 into which
I have telnetted and logged on as root, I get the following message:

Fatal error: (vTcl interp) Server cannot open Display ega
Error Information logged to: /tmp/tclerror.2599.log

I don't speak Tcl and the log is of little help. Should the
environment variable DISPLAY be set to something else? If so, what
should it be? Thanks for any help.

It probably should be UNset altogether. Or set the CHARM environment
variable.

It shouldn't be set at all for a non-graphical login. Do "unset
DISPLAY"

This happens because you are probably comming from a windows environ or
other where you can't display a remote GRAPHICAL session. either xhost +
if you are on linux/unix or, CHARM=1 export CHARM. This will give you a
non-graphical version of your scoadmin friend.
