Does anyone know the 6 Transformers that Takara will re-release next year?

We don't know if Takara has any plans beyond Hotrod and Ultra Magnus. But
the other toys featured in the magazine article (which I've been told
relates to the poll taken for re-releases) were (gets up jpg scan) were
Grimlock, Devastator, Megatron, Soundwave and Starscream.

I've got the pics but sadly they're no longer resident where I found them:

They're back. I took them down since no one seemed to be utilizing them
anymore. Same URLs as above, same great flavor. :)

Thank you kindly. I'm right in my interpretation of what they are - the
poll winners - aren't I ?

Nope, not as far as that article is concerned. For that listing,
they're just poll candidates--Magnus and Hot Rod are #19 and 20,
respectively. No winners mentioned. We know two of them now, of
course, but no indications here.

The second "Trailerbreaker" that you see is Hoist, a remold of
Trailbreaker. You can read his TFU entry from Tengu's site here:
http://www.tfmultiverse.com/tfu/hoist.html

Its still there, the combination of lighting and camera angle just make
it appear weird.

Trailbreaker is the 3rd one along on the 3rd row.
HOIST is the 3rd one along on the 4th row and remold from the Trailbreaker
mold.

(Compare also Sideswipe & Red Alert,
Prowl, Bluestreak and Smokescreen
Ironhide and Ratchet,
Inferno and Grapple. Quite a common thing to do)

Hmmm. The other image I have in connection with the poll is here

http://www.netcomuk.co.uk/~payres/magnus.jpg

(Can't remember where I downloaded it from, please ID yourself so credit can
be given etc)

Is this more relevant and are there translations of both lists of names ?
(I can see that #1 on the first pic is #7 on the 2nd ....)

On justbetoys.com, they announced that Takara will be rereleasing 6 G1
TFs next year. I'm fairly certain that Skids won't be one of them.

Hey, neat! I remember seeing the page before, but somehow totally
overlooked the poll section. Probably was too busy being wowed by the
first color shots of God Magnus. :-)

Can't help you with that one.

These are indeed the results of the poll. FIGURE KING thanks everyone
who sent in their responses (and there were a LOT of them, apparently),
and says they'll forward the results on to Takara for reference
regarding reissues. Judging from the final listings, Takara may have
paid attention, but didn't start from the top. (Note: Repeated numbers
aren't typos, they're ties.)

The winners from among the TFs pictured for the poll are:
1. Megatron
2. Devastator
3. Hot Rod
4. Ultra Magnus
5. Soundwave
6. Grimlock
7. Ironhide
7. Starscream
9. Jazz
9. Bluestreak
9. Tracks

The winners from those NOT pictured for the poll are:
1. Bumblebee
2. Metroplex
2. Predaking
4. Rodimus Prime
4. Superion
6. God Jinrai
7. Blaster
7. Reflector
7. Raiden
10. Fortress Maximus

Interesting that Takara started with the top-ranked Autobots/Cybertrons
in the pictured winners list, even though both ranked below Megatron and Devastator.

Also of note is FMax's relatively low standing in the re-release request
list, probably owing to BMax's release, at least in part.

I also wonder just what the raw numbers for pictured vs. non-pictured
winners were like. Could Bumblebee actually have garnered more votes
than Megatron? :-)

I doubt it since he is said to be coming after the turn of the year, menaing
he'll be no.4 in the series.

Well, BB might STILL have out-populared the Big M, but Takara just
ignored that to mess with fans. You know how they are.
