I am a intermediate player and have been playing seriously online for
about 1 year.
I am thinking of subscribing to GammOnLine and would love some
feedback. Is it worth the $36 subscription price ?
Thanks in advance,
Moshe

It certainly is. I am one of the charter members and I must say I will renew
when the time comes round.
As Rick pointed out, you get the benefit of all the back issues for free plus
the next 12 for just one year's membership!
The online match is my favorite feature. About 100 people participate daily
in it against Kit Woolsey. Every day is a new lesson on Gammonline.

I would say a yearly subscription to GammonOnLine is worth much more than
$36. At the moment, it costs just under one cent a day. For your penny, you
get to play with others members as a team against the editor Kit Woolsey, a
master of the game. You can participate in discussion on strategy and other
backgammon topics at the message board, read excellent tutororials and
articles and participate in the monthly quiz contest. And, if you ever need
to contact Kit by email, he always replies promptly.
I have been a member of GammOnLine since Day 1 and can assure you I won't
have second thoughts about renewing my subscription this year.
Best regards,
Michael

Well worth it. I've made it the home page for my browser.
To get a good idea of what it has to offer, go to the main page (which I
assume you already have, but it's at http://www.gammonline.com ) and
check out the demo issue.

Of course, that should be just under 10 cents a day, but it's worth much more.
The articles are excellent, the format is convenient, and the bulletin board
has no discussions about whether Jellyfish cheats. It's a clear take.
