I just got a very nice Asteroids Cocktail. The monitor has major burnin,
and I was wondering what other 13" monitors would have a plug in tube
replacement. I thought that I remembered someone saying that almost all the
13" BW tubes from TV's etc were all the same. Is that true? Please let me
know, or if someone has a nice condition monitor let me know the price.

Also looking for a working Asteroids Boardset.

John,

I'd be interested in any information you get on that one. My tube had a
hairline crack from travelling and when I tried to remove it for a cap kit
I heard WHOOSSSHHHHHHHH!

Cheers

If it'll fit physically, it should work fine, there's no convergence and
purity to adjust, so a tube swap is a 20 minute job. I've used a 19"
tube from an old Sun monochrome workstation monitor in a 19" G05, and
I'm sure you could find a TV of the right size for the 15" one.
