Hello, it's me again. I can get my IP address after my computer
connect to the Internet. I use a modem to dial to the ISP and connect to
the Internet. So my question is how to get the remote host's DNS
location? I've tried out the .RemoteHostIP of the winsock control but
nothing returned. Anyone can help?

Had to deal with this when I was writing a link checker for my senior
project... we ended up using an OCX called GETHST ( get host ) put out
by Mabry, http://www.mabry.com, I think it's like $5 shareware.

Thanks for your answer. I've tried that control, but it requires the host
name. Actually, I want to check out the DNS of my ISP server without knowing
the host name. I found the Winipcfg program that comes with windows can check
the DNS out when I connect to the internet and doesn't require me to provide
the host name. Can I do that in a VB program? Thanks again.
