I installed Windows 98 yesterday. While playing around; I somehow
got my taskbar vertically on the left side of screen. I've read the
manual but didn't get any help. Will someone tell me how to get
taskbar to bottom of screen ? Thanks in advance for any help.

Joe.

In case you failed to notice, Windows 98 just came out yesterday. None
of us have had much time to fiddle around with it yet. Check back in
about a week or two and we can probably help you.

I have not seen the 'OS' yet but I would suspect it should move like any
other taskbar, that is drag and drop.

Win 98 acts pretty much EXACTLY the same as win 95 OSRII release C
with IE4 installed and running active desktop.

The taskbar is dragable, put your mouse to the right hand side of the
screen where the taskbar is, hold down the left buttin on the bar (in
an unused space) and then with the button down, move the mouse to the
middle of the bottom of the screen and release the button. Done.

Some people could have got their hands on it before it was released

Why don't you try to drag the task bar to the left ,right, bottom. It's a
common feature of 95 and 98. If this dose not work let me know.
