Actually, this newsgroup has been full of BS since it's creation. I
was on here a long time ago and ended up in a HUGE e-mail flame war
with a guy over total bullshit. I won't say who, but he HAD to be
right, no matter what, and I left the group. Now, I just do what most
do on here, and ignore all the crap. I have found that you can't
change someone's mind about something when that person has their mind
made up, even if they are wrong in reality. I'm in a Kiss newsgroup
because I like Kiss - have since '75 and still do. I don't agree with
everything they do, but if I had the money that they had, after
struggling to make it in the beginning like they did, I actually doubt
I would give a shit what fans thought, either, so like the newsgroup,
I try to ignore the stupid things the band does and enjoy the things
about them that I like. I personally like COS, I like the reunion, I
think it's cool to be able to go out and get Kiss cards again. Alot
of people agree with me, alot of people don't agree with me. But Kiss
never did appeal to everyone. In the beginning they pissed people off
with the makeup and blood, in '83 they pissed off people by taking it
off, they pissed people off by letting Bruce and Eric go after people
hounding them since 1980 asking them when they were going to get all
the original members back, and they pissed people off when they
released the last album with Bruce and Eric. Not everyone will be
happy with the band - that's how they made it big in the first place.
But evidently they are doing SOMETHING right...

I was happily surprised that so many KISS-fans in this newsgroup also
are big Zappa-fans. Since that seems to be a fact, why shouldn't it be
discussed? Just because you have made your mind up about Zappa, without

Hmm.........i like the San Francisco Giants, but i discuss them in the Giants
