Different volumes of "Pedigrees of Some of the Emperor Charlemagne's
Descendants" differ on her parentage.

Sir Richard Fitzalan, b. abt 1313, d. 24 jan 1375/76, s/of Edmund
Fitzalan and Alice de Warenne
m.
Eleanor b. 11 jan 1371/72

The first volume lists her as daughter of William de Bohun, Earl of
Northampton.
The second volume lists her as daughter of Maud de Chaworth and Henry
Plantagenet. Which is correct?
Hopefully, Robin :)

These two ladies married different Richards:

Richard Fitzalan, 3rd Earl of Arundel, born ca 1307,
died 24 jan 1376. Leader of English expeditions in
Scotland and France.

The 3rd Earl married first (ca 1321, div. 1345) Isabel
Despenser, daughter of Hugh Despenser the Younger
(who was executed in 1326), with issue:
Philippa (married Richard Sergeaux, Cornwall)
Isabel (or Mary), married John Strange (d 1361),
4th Baron, Blackmere.

The 3rd Earl married 2ndly 1346 Eleanor Plantagenet
(1318-1372), daughter of Henry, 3rd Earl Lancaster.
with issue:
Richard, 4th Earl (see below).
John, ancestor of the 6th Earl (see below).
Thomas (d 19 feb 1413), archbishop of Canterbury and
Lord Chancellor of England. He led persecution of
the Lollards.
Joan, married Humphrey de Bohun (1340-1372), 8th Earl
Hereford. (Mary, daughter of Joan and Humphrey,
married King Henry IV.)
Alice, married 1366 Thomas Holand (b. 1350,
d. 25 Apr 1397), 2nd Earl Kent, and had issue.
Eleanor, married Robert de Ufford.

Richard Fitzalan, 4th Earl, one of the five Lords Appellant
and opponent of Richard II, executed in Richard's coup
in 1397.

The 4th Earl married first, in 1359 (when he could not have
been more than 13) Elizabeth de Bohun, sister of the 8th
Earl Hereford mentioned above, with issue:
Thomas (d 1415), 5th Earl (married Beatrix of Portugal).
When the 5th Earl died without issue, the title passed
to his relative the 6th Earl (see below).
Elizabeth m 1st William Montagu (killed in a joust
in 1383); m 2nd Thomas Mowbray (d 1399), 1st Duke of
Norfolk, another of the Lords Appellant, with 4 issue;
m 3rd Robert Goushill (d ca 1403) of Hoveringham,
with 2 issue.
Joan, married William Beauchamp, Lord Bergavenny,
with issue.
Margaret, married Rowland Henthall, of Hampton Court
Alice, married ca 1390 John Charlton, 4th Baron.
She was apparently the mother by Henry Beaufort
(1375-1447), bishop of Winchester, of Jane
(born about 1400), who married Edward Stradling,
this line leading to Abigail Adams and FDR.

The 4th Earl married 2ndly, after 1391, Philippa Mortimer
(d 1401)

John Fitzalan (d 1379), marshal of England in 1377, younger
son of the 3rd Earl, married before 1365, Eleanor Lady
Maltravers (d 1405). Their son John Fitzalan (1365-1391)
married 1385 Elizabeth Despenser (daughter of Edward,
5th Baron) with issue:
John Fitzalan (1385-1421), 6th Earl of Arundel.
Thomas, of Beechwood/Betchworth. Thomas's daughter Eleanor
was mother of Sir George Browne (1440-1483) of Betchworth
mentioned in the Tewkesbury Roll, and her second husband
Thomas Vaughan (1425-1483), Tretower, is also mentioned
in the Roll.
Margaret (d 1439), married 1394 William de Ros (d 1414),
7th Baron.

** Source: mostly Burke's Peerage.
** Also, "Battle of Tewkesbury, A Roll of Arms"
by Geoffrey Wheeler (1971).
** The Adams/FDR datum presumably from the Roberts book.
