Bad command or file name
ERROR:
Unable to find WARCRAFT II data file 'data\maindat.war'
The file 'war2.ini' contains the 'CDPATH' to your CD-ROM drive and may
need to be modified if your CD-ROM drive has been reconfigured.

But whenever I put the CD in the drive and close it, Warcraft II starts
normally, without any error messages. I checked war2.ini, and the CDPATH is
set for g:\ which is correct on my machine, C,D,E,F drives are all
partitions on my hard drive. I uninstalled, and then reinstalled Warcraft
II Tides of Darkness, same problem, upgraded to Dark Portal, same problem,
installed the anti-cheat packages from Blizzard to version 1.5, same
problem. I even checked the CD-ROM itself to be sure data\maindat.war was
there, and it was. Same problem whether or not I use the Dark Portal CD or
the Tides CD. Anyone come across this before? Also, during games, the game
will just freeze right in the middle of playing, can't close it,
Cntl-Alt-Del does nothing, have to turn computer off, then back on again.
I've noticed this lockup on other games as well, so it might be a windows
problem and a windows fix. Any answers to this problem?
