Hi.
My first time, so be gentle with me (-:
Recently, someone posted a request (?) for volunteers to do Beta testing
of software. Unfortunately, this site purges the larger news groups
fairly frequently, so I was unable to track down the original message.
I have in mind a *perfect* site for Beta testing. Could the person
who made the original posting get in touch with me (by e-mail), so
that I can supply the appropriate info.
Failing that, could someone else send me the e-dress of the 'organizer'
in question?
The site I have in mind is a DTP house here in Victoria that has been
using Macs and Mac software for three years. They are already a Beta
sight for Aldus, and are interested in being Guinea Pigs for other
developers.
Thanks,

If I receive enough replies, I'll summarize back to the net.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.
The cure is to take it back to the dealer and get a new mouse. Since it is
<2 months old, it is still under warantee (sp). When you get the new
mouse, test it: bring up a dialog box and ssslllooowwwllly (as opposed to
merely sslloowwllyy :-) click the mouse on and off where there are no buttons.
If you get too many beeps, ask for yet another mouse. Repeat until you get
one which works, and then test it again shortly before the warantee expires.
There's nothing more useless than a Mac with a broken mouse, unless it's an

Let x=40.
Tech Note 40 has a 1-line description of these bits. Make sure you have the
Tech Note version dated March 2, 1987. Earlier version had 2 of the bit
swapped.
