Vijay and All,

The following is an explaination as to why the sacrafices should
continue in the third Temple.
The sacraficial system was G-d give. G-d respected Abel's
sacrafice as "excellent" (Gen 4:4; Heb 11:4) and regarded the smell
of Noah's sacrafice as a "soothing aroma" (Gen. 9:20). HaShem is
plain to state "...I have given it [blood] to you upon the alter to
make atonement..." (Lev 17:11). Many verses contain COMMANDS to
sacrafice, such as "Aaron SHALL offer the bull as a sin offering...
He SHALL take some blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger
on the mercy seat... then HE SHALL KILL THE GOAT OF THE SIN
OFFERING... THIS SHALL BE A STATUTE *FOREVER*..." (Lev. 16:6, 14, 15,
29). There can be no doubt that this was G-d's idea.
You bring up Is. 66 (I assume 66:3) as "proof" that the
sacrafices are wrong. Yet Is. 66:3 is not an isolated verse, but one
of a familly of verses with similar wording:
1Sam 15:22; Is. 1:11-15; 66:3; Jer 6:20; 7:22-23; 14:10, 12; Hosea
5:6; 6:6=Mt 9:13/12:7; Amos 5:21-22; Mic. 6:6-8; Mal. 1:10; Ps.
40:4-9(6-8)=Heb 10:5-8; 50:8; 51:16-17.
These passages should all be considered in light of each other,
in keeping with the Second Rule of Hillel, "G'zerah Shavah"
(equivalence of expresions). These passages are examples of a Jewish
method of argument called "Kol V'Chomer" (light and heavy) [this is
the First Rule of Hillel] which contrasts two ideas based upon their
weight (see Matt. 23:23). It is apparant by examining these passages
that the meaning is that sincere faith is of greater weight than
sacrafice (see Is. 1:11-15; Amos 5:21-22; Mal 1:10; Ps 51:16-17; Mt
9:13; 12:7 and esp. Jer 14:10, 12; 1Sam 15:22) Asimilar usage appears
in Lk. 14:26 where Yeshua states that to be his disciples (students)
we must hate our mother, father, wife, children, brothers and
sisters. Obviosly this is by comparison of weight.
If we were to take these passages to abolish the sacrifices, we
should also abolish incence, new moons, the shabbot, assemblies,
feasts, songs, musical insterments etc. (Is. 1:11-14; Amos 5:21-22).
The fact is that the sacrafices continued in the New Scriptures.
The first Believers attended the Temple service at the third hour of
Shavuot (Acts 2:15) which was a sacrafici8al event (Lev 23:15,
18-19). Kefa (Peter) and Yochanon (John) attended the daily Temple
service at the ninth hour (Acts 3:1) which was also a sacrafice (Ex.
29:39; Lev. 6:20; Josephus- Antiquities 14:4:3).
Rav Shaul (Paul) continued to perform such sacrafices long after
the death of Yeshua (Acts 21:23-26 with Num 6:13-21; Acts 24:17-18).
The author of Hebrews teaches that the "laying on of hands" (Heb
6:2) a sacraficial rite (Lev 1:4; 3:8; 4:4; 8:14; 16:21; Ex 29:10;
Num 8:12) is an "elementry principle of Messiah" (Heb 6:1). He
plainly states that the sacrafices continue as a rememberance (Heb
10:1-3) and encouraged Jewish believers to continue Temple attendance
(Heb 10:25). He states that the sacrafices will not end until the
New Covenant is enacted, which will not take place until the Kingdom
(that is another study).
Finally the Talmud records certain details of the customs of
Jewish followers of Yeshua in performing animal sacrafices. (b.Tam.
31b)
With all of this in mind, I see no reason that Jewish believers
should boycot the third Temple, when the Scriptures clearly command
us to sacrafice there. (See Dan. 9:27)
