Sure it is, Desi... sure it is... How sad that your self-esteem is so
low that you have to make this up. I will pray for you. God Bless.

Poor Desi, all upset because he lacks the means to purchase a bike for
his "wife". ROTFLOLASTD!!!!!!!!

You touched a nerve there, Inky. Desi's dad was a wife-beating drunk
who sexually abused YFD on occassions too numerous to mention. That is
why YFD fled from england to france. Do try to be more sensitive in the
future. After all, just because Desi berates the victims of proven
murderers and embraces all proven murderers as 'misunderstood', that
doesn't mean that he deserves the same kind of callousness himself.

Hope this helps,

'spag /spAIG/ adj. & n. sl. "spastic", "stupid person", used to refer
to Americans and retentionists. From Latin _spasticus_ ("pulling"),
from _spaÔ_ ("pull")'
(_The OED_)

ah. Thank you. In which case let me make it clear for you. If you can't take
abuse then don't give it.

I am sorry about your father's death. I have posted already to reflect this
but it hasn;t arrived yet even though i posted it over an hour ago. The
traffic of usenet always was a mystery to me.

Desi. It is clear here that you and I have at least one thing in common. We
both love out dads. Mine struggled to get it when i was growing up but he
did in the end and I couldn't wish for a better one. one thing usenet should
never do it tread on what we hold dear. It's only binary nonsense

I'm sorry to hear your dad is dead. Bloody parents huh? you grow up hating
them, when you reach adulthood you realise that they have always loved you
and before you get to show them yours they die on you. My dad is almost 70
and in good health. He didn't do too well (in his eyes) at bringiing me up
after my mother went off with her current husband (a decent bloke by the
way). Anyway my dad has spend the last 20 years trying to make up a bad
upbringing to me. He doesn't need to, he was always in my corner when it
counted. I tried to tell him this but he won't listen. Dads are the best
parents in the world

I certainly lov*ed* my father, but he is dead now and cannot be honoured or
loved. I honour his memory, as he was a Great Man, one of Scotland's
finest policemen, and a wonderful father, but I have no 'état d'âme' about
his death.

Bollox Desi. your father may be dead but he is very muc alive to you in your
memory. You do love him and you do honour him just as i do with my dead
relatives

Rush, you should refrain from using numbers and facts in replies to

What of it, Rush? Observe as I post from a Cable (I think) account in
Paris and a box run by a University of Tasmania club/society located
around 1km away. It's not rocket science to post from boxen that are

Sadly that is an aversion that YFD shares with all eurotrash. Perhaps
they are too busy surrendering or learning to enjoy "ethnic cleansing"
to learn about the finer things in life. After all, Desi certainly
stepped on his proverbial dick in his attempt to explain the
(non-existent) "z" option in the UNIX TAR command. ROTFLOLASTD!!!!!!!

It wasn't this post to which I referred.

I'm pretty sure that one of my other posts would have had
ids.tuu.utas.edu.au as NNTP posting host. Not the best demonstration
but, as I've posted elsewhere, Desmond's box is being just plain _weird_.

You thick twat, Davey. I've got an account on Desmond's box in Paris,
France. Does that mean that I live _there_? Perhaps you could hire me
to help explain to you the notion of remote access via ssh...

I don't care all that much, Rush. Donnie is obviously malevolent and
delusional while Davey, billycunt et al are functionally identical
(illiterate, thick and overdosed on testosterone) even if they _are_
different people.

It doesn't matter - they're all in my killfile. If I let one of them
out, I can read pretty much what all the others tend to post time after
time after time. Or, I can unplonk Donnie and hear about how he
"founded" comp.unix.admin. ROTFLMAO!

I cannot 'honour' the dead, incubus. The laws of the physical universe
prevent me (or anyone else) for doing so. I can (and do) honour his
memory, for that is what is alive within me.

'Honour the dead' is simply impossible.

ROTFLMAO. How stupid can one man be? desi again pushes the
envelope in an answer to that question. He just doesn't give up... no
matter how stupid he looks... his ego cannot permit him to give up.

He has many issues with the dead... he cannot honor them... nor can
they have any meaning in respect to punishing their murderer. Yet he
loves to post pictures of dead and decayed dead bodies. Go figure...
the man DOES have issues... no doubt about that.

I certainly lov*ed* my father, but he is dead now and cannot be honoured or
loved. I honour his memory, as he was a Great Man, one of Scotland's
finest policemen, and a wonderful father, but I have no 'état d'âme' about
his death.

Roll out the 'sympathy' truck that no one actually believes. Now you're
Scottish again.

Why not??? I would agree with most posters... but desi brings such
abuse on himself, and he has insulted Don in the most terrible of
unfounded accusations, that he presents as TRUTHS. Don was
simply providing an insult which goes beyond what we should do
under normal circumstances... but Don and desi are not your normal
circumstances.

En effet, Yanick. Sache toutefois que ce forum est peuplé des crétins qui

ici.

Je me permets tout de même de te féliciter de ton français ... tu es

Yanick probably has a point here Desmond, what part of his post put you on
to the fact that he is from Quebec?

Talking of motorcycles, and congratulations on your new acquisition BTW, I
understood that the EU had an arrangement with motorcycle manufacturers
limiting the power output to 130 bhp. Is this an old requirement or do
Yamaha de-rate their R1 accordingly?

I cannot 'honour' the dead, incubus. The laws of the physical universe
prevent me (or anyone else) for doing so. I can (and do) honour his
memory, for that is what is alive within me.

'Honour the dead' is simply impossible.

Inky apparently hasn't seen YFD's postings where he posits that the
dead deserve no veneration and thus missed the point of my posting.

Naff off, goat-boy!

If you're root and you try to ssh to a box without the -l flag, who do
you think you are by default? Who do you think I'm logged in as on any
given one of our boxen?

My guess is that the idiom is obvious. I wouldn't be able to tell but,
suffice to say, I understood pretty much exactly what he was saying
despite having ceased study of French in year 10. Desmond's reply was a
little trickier but I got the gist.

Couldn't they pull the same stunt as Japanese motor car manufacturers
whose high-performance models always seem to put out 206kW at the back
wheels when specified locally (and sometimes overseas - witness the spec
of the Honda NSX in Oz - 206kW at the rear wheels and it's a good deal
more than that in reality). Might well be an urban myth, but I
understand that 206kW is the upper limit for power output by motor cars
that can legally be registered in Japan.

sudo is for big girls' blouses.

I'm logged in as me and su to root. "su" is aliased as follows:

/bin/su root -c 'exec /usr/local/bin/tcsh' -f

which is probably different on a BSD system.

Davey's a soft target, Des. He would get angry at the spankings
regularly given him but he's too fucking thick to realise that he's
being torn a new arsehole every time he posts.

Little Davey! LOL!

It isn't nice to lie, desi. Although you seem to do nothing else. You
have most certainly claimed that Don, David McDonald and William
Robert are ALL the same. In your lengthy pile of horseshit in the
thread 'Hello,' See --
http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=20021116212929.28026.00001359%40mb-fp.aol.com&oe=UTF-8&output=gplain
Quoting your words -- "There are a few disruptive posters on this group.
One of them, you can recognise by the e-mail address 'old...@comcast.net'.
He also posts under several aliases, including (but not restricted to)
billy...@aol.com and David_M...@subspacemail.com. Do not be
fooled by these e-mail addresses: it is the same person posting under
all three."
And unfortunately for your lie, your post still exists in the active newsreaders,
dated 16 Nov in the thread 'Hello,' making it a bit more difficult for your lie
to have any foundation.

Oh, it's yours all right. Once again 'transference' is in progress in your
behavior patterns. Your obsession with 'locating' other posters here
is one of more recognizable features of your character. And even
not so subtly claiming you 'could' divulge certain information, but
'your character' (HO HO HO), does not permit it. Just for your
information, ol' Bubblehead, the claim is seen as a clear 'intimidation'...
threatening the other poster with some imaginary disclosure if
they 'push you too far.' And then presenting bold-faced lies, and
claiming you don't have to 'prove them,' that others must 'disprove'
them.

See what I mean? The old 'intimidation' threat at work. You know Don
doesn't actually GIVE a shit about you, and that gives you the freedom
to make any claim you wish. You're a perverse jerk of a liar... and everyone
knows it.

Simply an observation on my part -- you are a consummate liar.
I have to admit that you make more out of a lie than anyone I can
imagine. You drain every last drop out of your lie... embellish
it beyond belief, hoping that people do believe you. But, in the end...
it's still just a lie.
