I just got back from the US Amusements auction at
Pennsauken... they didn't get started on time (as usual)
until 10:30 or so. I had to leave at 1:15 and they were just
beginning the cocktails (WAY too many junk parts to auction
first).

Anyway there were two PacMania uprights (one very clean), a
nice Blasteroids, a really beat up nonworking trivia game I
wanted to buy for the monitor/cab, and the worst looking cab
I've ever seen at an auction but it had a multi-game board
in it that played DigDug, Pacman, and Rally X.

If anyone's feet (and ears) held up long enough to get to
those games, what'd they sell for? Any other prices of
interest to report? Lots of MsPac UR's there.

thanks
Charles

I wasn't there, but the multi-game board you're referring to
is a Namco Classics Collection Vol. 2 board. I have one &
it actually plays 6 games (2 of each of those games). The
PCB is worth $350 by itself, so I'm curious to know what it
went for?

The super clean Pac-mania belonged to a good friend of mind. I forget the
exact $ but between 500 and 550.

Hey charles the Namco classics went in the $400's The Blasteroids went in the
$500's along with the pacmania's.. Almost all the ms Pac-man's went for $575.00
and up. A converted return of the jedi to Robocop went for close to $400.00.
Almost every game sold high at auction. A Congo Bongo went for $500.00. And a
Ghouls and Ghost Caberet Sold for $385.00. A New ms pac-man/ Galaga combo Sold
for $2200.00. And the Royal Rumble Game sold for $2100.00.

The dedicated Atari Ireland Pole Position 2 went for 225. A stern tazmania
went for I believe 325 and lock n chase hit 225.

The people who bid of the first upright Ms Pac's set the elevated price
for classics at this auction. My buddy was interested in a Ms Pac. When
the CT went for $850 (I believe, I missed it getting sold), you figure the
UR's would go for $600-$700. (Some had modified mazes / boards and
floating fruit problems) But no, a Ms Pac in fair condition with
the aforementioned boardsets went for $1200. After that, opening bids
were $800. Most of the Ms Pacs were shopped. You could tell by the nice
overlays, fresh spray paint, and worn buttons. Shit, that second
Asteroids went for $775 (+/- $50) - way too much, in my opinion.

I bolted after the pins were sold. But I had a hunch the Ms Pacs in the
last few rows may have gone at a lower price. Didn't stay to test my
theory, though.

No classics Williams (except that nice CT Bubbles). THe Bubble Bobble
which sold for $125 (+/- 10), was a Bubbles ar one time. Kind of
disappointed at the number of non-pac classics.

Anyone else have thoughts?

the congo bongo went for $225 i believe, and it was in really nice
shape.

and the robocop wasn't converted from a reurn of the jedi - it was
converted from an I,Robot ! - most of the side art was still there,
but they hacked up the control panel to add more buttons :(

Both of the new in crate Class of 81's were buy backs, as was the brand new
double monitor Wrestling --- the mini blue prints was also a buyback at
$235...one man bought back 12 of the 15 pinballs be brought (he bought back a
so-so Med. Madness for $3050---he wanted $3400!) Pacmans of any type are BIG
at these auctions...I purchased 5 Ms Pacmans at this particular auction(I spent
$9000 total....the $300 6 player XMen that was nice was a steal in my opinion(I
got it)...prices were low on some items and high for others....the ugly
Elevator Action the with bottom plywoo0d broken off at $300 was no bargain!
