That is a grossly incorrect statement as none of the tcb files will be
moved.
The proper way is to use ap.

or at the very least, addxusers, but going from 505 to 505, ap is both
available and superior.
just wanted to let it not be forgotten that if you didn't happen to be going
to osr5 from osr5, there was another way.
I recently used addxusers to migrate a linux box onto 506. So much went on
that day that I don't remember clearly but I think I had to create user home
directories and .profiles by hand (using a little on the spot scripting to
read the special /etc/passwd used for addxusers) and I had to use cut &
paste (the commands "cut" and "paste") to create a single special
/etc/passwd from the real /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow. In the end it
actually did all work out. user kept their dumb 2-letter, all caps usernames
and their old password worked, and the buisiness end of their old profiles
copied over. come the next day, every logged in and most people had no idea
anything changed except when the odd printing or system-command issue turned
up while using the application throughout the day, all of which I expected
and was ready to deal with as soon as people found them for me.
So now at least there is one case, even today, of a buisiness actually
trying linux first, really wanting that to work, and finally giving up and
moving to the superior OSR5. they ran linux for over a year, and finally
giving up in frustration and love life now that their server doesn't crash
from as little as 5 times a week to as much as 5 times a day, and various
subsystems such as the lpd spooler don't just stop working for no
explainable reason in the middle of the day and for days on end, and just as
inexplainably resume working for a while... and he's our biggest customer
too.
It's alive...It's Alive!..... ahhh ahahah aha ahhhhh....

can't kill it..."
